A lot of people who want to learn a new language don’t know how to learn a new language. Unfortunately, many people start taking classes without even thinking about this.
There is no reason to skip this step. In the best-case scenario, not knowing how to learn a new language will result in thousands of hours of wasted time. In the worst-case scenario, you will conclude that you suck at learning new languages and give up.
Learning how to learn a new language not only drastically increases your chances of success, but also increases the quality and speed of your learning.
In this post, I’m going to share with you the best resources for learning HOW to learn new languages. You do not need to use all of these resources, but using some of them will go a long way to help you learn better and faster.
These lists are short because I don’t want you to get distracted by the ocean of information out there on the internet. Stay focused on these few pages and websites. It’s exactly the right information you need before you start your language learning journey.
Free and low-cost
These resources are free or really cheap.
- The Best Way To Learn Spanish On Your Own (In 12 Months Or Less) by Olly Richards. This guide will give you the “big picture” of your learning journey with Spanish
- Fluent Forever: How to Learn Any Language Fast and Never Forget It by Gabriel Wyner. This is a great book to learn how a polyglot thinks and what their strategy is for learning a new language. I don’t recommend the Fluent Forever system. I’ve created a similar but more powerful method with my AnkiMaster system.
- A QUICKSTART GUIDE TO LEARNING WITH ANKIMASTER – This guide will teach you about the AnkiMaster system.
Paid Resources
These resources are a bit expensive but they are very high value and will save you lots of time in your learning process.
