The AnkiMaster System – How to study your cards

Intro

Each AnkiMaster note has 8 different flashcards. You can activate them in the Browser window, or in the Add window when you create the note.

Tutorial

Activating cards

Click on a note.

Scroll down to the bottom of the editing area. To activate a card, enter some text into it. To deactivate a card, delete the text.

You can see the new cards if you refresh the card list.  Click in the search bar.

Press Enter.

Now I have three cards: New Word, Picture-word, and Word-Sentence. I can also see this on the flashcards when I study them.

Deleting CARDS

You can delete unwanted cards.  Just delete the text.

Go to the Deck Selection Window. Click  Tools->Empty Cards…

Click Delete Cards.

All unused cards will automatically be deleted. You can do this to delete multiple cards at the same time.

Deleting NOTES

Deleting NOTES will remove the information from your Anki system completely.

To delete a note right click and select ‘Delete’ or press CTRL+Delete

Why are all the cards gone?

Because I deleted the note. 1 NOTE = several flashcards

If you want to delete only one card, remove the ‘x’ in the appropriate box (see Deleting cards).

Changing notes

You might want to change the note instead of deleting it. When you want to change your notes, you can

1. Return the card (see Returning AnkiMaster Cards)
2. Fix it (see Fixing your AnkiMaster Cards)

Try different cards and see what works best for you.  It’s your memory!
